The site I have chosen for blog post #2 is www.google.com. What could be more obvious design than this easy-to-use, EXTREMELY straightforward search engine?
What I believe made this search engine so popular is the fact that it is as straightforward and self-explanatory as a web site/search engine could be. You go to the site, enter your query, and press enter. I don't see how anyone could be confused with this layout. No instructions are required, and almost anyone without any prior internet/computer experience could figure this easy one out in less than a few seconds. This is obvious design at its finest. Hats off to you, google.com. Keepin' it simple.
