Hello. My name is Enrique Pérez Jr. I prefer to be called Enrique, but if pronunciation is difficult, you may call me Junior. I am a senior at IU currently on the Van Wilder plan. I am double majoring in Informatics and Interior Design. I am originally from McAllen, Texas, but reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my family when I'm not in school. Something interesting about me is that I initially started my academic career at IU majoring in Biology and Spanish on the pre-med route to pursue becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. However, I discovered my junior year that my true desires are technology and design. Thus, I am double majoring in Informatics and Interior Design. Ultimately, not only would I like to further integrate technology with interior design, but as well with product and transportation design. What worries me most about taking this class is the challenge to manage my time with five other classes, three of which are Interior Design classes, work at UITS, training for Little 500, and involvement with other clubs. As from the first class, I did not take away a new idea, however, I did think about how I could integrate my Interior Design skills with this class to design products to create a better experience for users.

Hey Enrique, how are you? I saw you last class, but I didn't get a chance to say hi. I am glad you are in my blog and in I300 with me. See you tomorrow!
