Mark Rodriguez- Blog #3

I used pricewatch.com last week for my blog assignment #2. I think contextual Inquiry is one of the best ways they could find out how to make the site better. It is when the user, or customer, take control of the site and the web developer would be sort of an apprentice and be being taught how to use the website.

The site is already simple to use, but some users might want to show that they don't know how to utilize some of the search methods for their web-site. It really seems like the most rational and logical way to get a better design to a web-site, especially if some usability tests are made to better understand certain aspects of their site.

  1. Right, contextual inquiry might provide deeper understanding on how people actually interact with the website!
